Responsibilities:
- Follow established medication protocols to minimize errors and ensure patient safety.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, considering age-specific needs and developing individualized care plans.
- Utilize effective pain management techniques, educating patients and families on pain management strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to revise care plans as needed and evaluate overall effectiveness.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, adhering to hospital standards and policies.
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in Connecticut
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- BLS certification
Work Environment:
- Variable shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
- Per diem opportunities available
Essential Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
