Key Responsibilities- Utilize a systematic approach to problem-solving in nursing practice to ensure the health and safety of students.
- Assess student health needs, recommend appropriate action, and monitor communicable diseases and other illnesses.
- Collaborate with counselors, administration, and other staff to provide resources and support for students with health issues.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote a positive and inclusive school environment.
- Stay up-to-date with current trends and practices in nursing to provide high-quality care and services.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- Current Washington State LPN or RN License.
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
- Preferred Washington State Educational Staff Associates School Nurse Certificate.
- Experience in school nursing or health education.
This is an on-call position, and the successful candidate will be required to work as needed in the nursing role.
