Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct interviews and screen patients prior to MRI procedures to identify any safety concerns or contraindications.
  • Execute MRI procedures in accordance with protocols established by Radiologists.
  • Initiate studies, transfer images, document patient history, and finalize studies in the GE IDX PACS system.
  • Experience with Cardiac and Pediatric patients is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Siemens and Toshiba equipment is advantageous.
  • Correctly apply MRI-compatible monitoring systems and IV infusion pumps to patients when necessary.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and communication skills to effectively manage the daily workflow of patients.
Experience Required:
Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience; Cardiac and Pediatric experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Education Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA Approved RT Program.
License/Certification Requirements:
Current ARRT License (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists); Current BLS Certification (Basic Life Support).
