Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a skilled Seasonal Truck Driver to deliver agricultural products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate and timely pick up/deliveries to customers, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
  • Ensure vehicle(s) and work environment are clean and well-maintained.
  • Complete daily maintenance inspections, documenting equipment maintenance and repairs.
  • Contribute to a strong safety culture, following safety policies, training, and regulations.
  • Report incidents, accidents, and traffic violations to supervisor immediately.
  • Participate in CHS random drug and alcohol testing program and Continuous Monitoring Program.
  • Assist operational staff and perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Procurement and/or Transportation and Logistics.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays, and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
  • Valid Class A CDL preferred.
  • Hazmat, Tanker, Air Brake endorsements preferred.
  • Agriculture background preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Bulk liquid, pressure trailer, or forklift experience preferred.
