Safety Advisor

Summit Line Construction, a subsidiary of Quanta Services, Inc., is a leading utility construction company in North America. Headquartered in Heber City, Utah, we offer powerline and substation construction and maintenance services in various utility markets.

As a Safety Advisor, you will play a crucial role in planning and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will be responsible for reinforcing a safety culture within the organization and providing training to field personnel.

• Training and Development: Assist in identifying training needs and gaps, and propose training/education plans to fill gaps. Offer specific training programs to help workers maintain or improve job skills.
• Safety Inspections and Compliance: Inspect or evaluate workplace environments, equipment, or practices to ensure compliance with safety standards and government regulations.
• Communication and Relationship Management: Communicate clearly and effectively with employees, supervisory personnel, state and local officials, consultants, and sub-contractors.
• Support and Development of HSE Programs: Support Corporate HSE Initiatives and assist in the development and enhancement of HSE programs.

• High school graduate and/or GED equivalent
• 2 years minimum related experience (ideally within power line construction)
• OSHA 30 certification and/or related safety certification, preferred
• Understanding of Federal and State safety regulations and training requirements
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and experience with web-based tracking software
