Job Title: Design Build Roadway/Mot Design Lead Engineer

As a key member of our Design-Build team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative and efficient infrastructure projects.

Our team is committed to delivering high-quality designs that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders. As a Roadway and/or MOT Design Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design team and ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design team and ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Develop and implement design solutions that meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all projects are completed successfully
  • Mentor and train junior engineers to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Washington PE license or ability to attain within the next year
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in transportation work with an emphasis on roadway/highway and geometric final design and/or Maintenance of Traffic and Traffic Control final design
  • Familiarity with Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) design manuals and plans preparation
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage design tasks
  • Strong experience with MicroStation (2D) and Inroads (3D) and/or OpenRoads (3D)
