Job Summary

Dignity Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team in the Special Procedures Department. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures in two modalities, determined by the needs of the department. Your expertise will be utilized to provide high-quality patient care, ensuring accurate and efficient imaging results.

Responsibilities

  • Perform imaging procedures in two modalities, as determined by the department's needs
  • Work under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor and Medical Director to ensure compliance with established standards and practices
  • Demonstrate competency in patient care for neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
  • Participate in the department's call schedule to ensure coverage weeknights, weekends, and holidays

Qualifications

  • Current California license as a certified Radiologic Technologist with Fluoroscopic permit
  • Competency in two of the following modalities: Diagnostic, Angiography-Special Procedures, MRI, CT
  • CPR-BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for imaging, medical terminology, and principles of operation and care of imaging systems and accessory equipment
  • Ability to work effectively under stress, adjust priorities as circumstances require, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in procedural details and required documentation

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and potentially hazardous materials. The successful candidate will be required to wear personal protective equipment and follow established safety protocols.

Pay Range

$66.40/hour
