Job Summary

Fortune School of Education - San Bernardino County is seeking a highly qualified Early Childhood Education Specialist to join our team. As a Preschool Associate Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality instructional program within a lab school environment that follows the Reggio Emilia approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curate an open-ended environment that values the child as the third teacher.
  • Plan and implement an emergent curriculum through the hundred languages of children.
  • Research and observe alongside the children, investing in personal relationships with each student and family.
  • Establish a culture of high expectations, with a shared belief that every student will attend college.
  • Create nurturing, supportive educational environments for preschool children at various stages of development.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and leadership to student teachers.
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of Fortune School.
Requirements:
  • High-quality instructional program design and implementation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with student teachers and other staff members.
  • Commitment to the Reggio Emilia approach and the Fortune School mission.
Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM with 1 hour meal period.
