These evaluations may include condition assessments, quality control, structural design, and analysis, along with the preparation of technical documentation, rehabilitation strategies, and project repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and oversee marine engineering and diving projects.
  • Develop design calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for review.
  • Create preliminary concept designs and submit them for approval.
  • Possess experience in structural engineering, design, analysis, and bridge condition assessments.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of commercial diving practices and ADCI requirements for surface-supplied air diving.
  • Project management experience is preferred.
Qualifications:
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Design.
  • 5+ years of experience in underwater inspections, commercial diving operations, and marine engineering projects.
  • PE in Florida or other states is preferred.
  • National Highway Institute (NHI) Bridge Inspection certification is a plus.
Minimum Requirements:

  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report.
  • Read, write, and comprehend plans and instructions in English.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Able to stand for a minimum of 3 hours a day, up to 8 hours.
  • Capable of traversing construction sites with uneven ground and varying material heights.
  • Must wear required PPE, including hard hats, safety vests, work boots, and safety glasses.
  • Able to lift and move equipment or inspection specimens weighing up to 50 pounds.
