Addiction Recovery Counselor - Flexible Work Arrangement
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 5 AM - 1:30 PM
Flexible Work Option:
Flexible schedules are available for candidates with significant experience in addiction counseling.

About Our Team:
Cranberry Township Comprehensive Treatment Center is part of Acadia Healthcare's network, recognized as a leading provider of medication-assisted treatment nationwide.
Your Role as an Addiction Recovery Counselor:
The Addiction Recovery Counselor plays a crucial role in the treatment and recovery journey of our patients dealing with opioid use disorder.
These counselors provide compassionate, high-quality care through various methods, including both individual and group therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver compassionate guidance in both individual and group therapy sessions.
Plan, manage, facilitate, and document patient recovery processes.
Conduct assigned group or family therapy sessions as necessary.
Ensure timely and clear documentation regarding patient care, treatment, and incidents.
Develop individualized treatment plans for each assigned patient.
Conduct initial assessments and follow-up evaluations.
Assess patient needs and determine if referrals to additional programs or facilities are necessary.
Plan aftercare for assigned patients as needed.
Provide crisis intervention to patients when required.
Perform case management duties to ensure individualized quality care.
Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients as needed.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience:
Associate's degree in social or health services field with 2 years of clinical experience in a health or human service agency; or
Bachelor's degree in social or health services field with 1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency; or
Master's degree in social or health services field with a practicum in a health or human service agency;
Degree must be from an accredited institution.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Prior experience and knowledge in addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environments are preferred.
Licenses/Certifications:
Not mandatory, applicable to the following: AAC, CAAC, CADC, CAADC, CS, CCS, LPC, BSW, MSW
