Expert Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a travel nurse in the cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) at Cynet Health.
This 8-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to provide patient care in a top-rated CVICU and support holiday coverage. As a travel nurse, you will work primarily day shifts with up to two weeks of night shifts within a six-week schedule.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in telemetry, vents, and high-acuity units, as well as 1 prior travel assignment completed. A DC RN license (pending license accepted but must have license prior to start) is required, along with certifications in BLS and ACLS.
Pulmonary artery line experience and level 1 trauma and post-op experience are preferred but not mandatory. The selected candidate will be expected to float within units of equivalent or lower levels of acuity and utilize Cerner for charting.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with all health and safety protocols, including potential contact with COVID-19 patients, and completing orientation and required modules. On average, modules last 12 hours.
