Key Responsibilities- Answering Urgent and Non-Urgent Calls: Respond to incoming calls from patients with gynecological concerns, providing empathetic and informed support.
- Refilling Prescriptions: Follow physician protocols to refill prescriptions and ensure timely delivery of medications to patients.
- Medical Consultations: Review patient concerns and consult with providers as necessary to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment.
- General Gynecology Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of general gynecological concerns and issues, including reproductive health and wellness.
- Office Operations: Familiarize yourself with office functionality, including hours of operation, after-hours calls, and provider call rotation.
- Scheduling and Lab Orders: Assist with scheduling upcoming ultrasounds and appointments, and enter necessary lab orders as required.
- Documentation: Accurately document all calls and orders in our electronic medical record (EMR) system.
- Experience: One year of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an OB/GYN setting.
- Education: Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Certifications: Current Indiana certification as a Registered Nurse and CPR certification.
- Skills: Knowledge of CPT coding, lab-specific order sets, and eCW is beneficial.
