We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic II to join our team at Guthrie. This role will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and engineering duties, including maintaining, repairing, operating, and renovating our medical office buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance and repairs on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Operate and maintain department equipment and supplies.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment and systems.
- Assist in making decisions on repairs and report major problems to the Manager or Supervisor.
- Read blueprints and models to learn work layout and plan own work layout.
- Identify system failures and troubleshoot equipment to restore to operating condition.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years of trade school or five years of comparable related experience.
- Demonstrated skill in one trade and basic understanding of other trades acquired through on-the-job training.
- Knowledge of all applicable OSHA standards.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and make decisions and meet deadlines.
This role requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
CompensationThe pay rate for this role is $29.85 per hour.
