Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hematology/Oncology Clinical Specialist to join our team in South Texas. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting Mayo Clinic's core values and supporting community-based healthcare and integrated delivery systems through the sale of Mayo Medical Laboratories (MCL) tests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Generate new business revenue and co-develop with clients their specific account and/or test selling and promotional strategies.
  2. Collaborate with the CSR Director, Regional Director of Sales, Regional Managers, and clients to project annual sales growth, market dynamics, and economic conditions.
  3. Co-develop and implement business plans for territory/accounts with the CSR Director, Regional Director of Sales, Regional Managers, and clients.
  4. Sell and compel buying influences to move testing to Mayo and their clients by differentiating from competing interests.
  5. Coordinate appropriate resources, develop presentations, and participate in the bid process for new and upsell opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in sales, preferably within the Hematology/Oncology market segment.
  • Excellent human relations, management, and communications skills.
  • Ability to manage several projects or tasks simultaneously and exercise appropriate judgment when prioritizing projects.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving ability, adherence to Mayo Clinic and MCS policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in business, medical technology, or sciences.
  • FACHE certification.
What We Offer

Mayo Clinic offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $70,512 - $105,747.20/year, with a commission add-on component. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.

This is an exempt position, and the selected candidate will be required to work extensively on all forms of major public transportation. The position requires up to 80% travel and may involve business travel on weekends and attendance at trade shows on weekends.
