CareerStaff Unlimited is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at our North Adam, MA facility. As a valued member of our care team, you will play a crucial role in helping patients with medically complex conditions regain their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides Occupational Therapy services to patients under the direct supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
  • Assists in the evaluation process, identifying problems, short-term goals, long-term goals, and treatment plans.
  • Assists in selecting Occupational Therapy techniques and adapting them as needed.
  • Establishes and modifies patient schedules in conjunction with the Occupational Therapist and other team members.
  • Maintains acceptable patient care ratios and provides/recommends adaptive devices or equipment.

Requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Successful completion of the National Certification for O.T.A.
  • 1 year of verifiable, supervised professional experience.
  • Valid COTA license or license eligible in the state of practice.
