Ace Avant's Specialty Division is a leader in providing comprehensive concrete solutions. We specialize in Retrofit and Upfit Concrete Construction, Ground-up Concrete Construction, Concrete Repair, Concrete Polishing, Joint Filling and Repair, Floor Surface Preparation, Resinous Flooring, and Concrete Cutting.

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our Specialty Division. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in managing construction costs by collecting and analyzing bid specifications and drawings to prepare accurate estimates. You will work closely with our Project Management teams and the Senior Estimator to ensure successful bidding and project execution.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships
  • Conduct meetings with clients to showcase our services
  • Analyze project requirements through field measurements and review of drawings
  • Prepare and submit proposals, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy
  • Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors, negotiating prices as necessary
  • Maintain up-to-date cost keys and price masters
  • Collaborate with project managers on change order pricing and facilitate value engineering discussions
  • Perform risk analysis and prepare reports for upper management
  • Visit project sites and other venues as required for estimates

**Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in concrete cutting estimating is preferred
  • Strong communication skills to discuss solutions and repair options with customers
  • Proficient in analyzing data and developing budgets
  • Team player with the ability to manage vendor relationships
  • Excellent skills in estimating, critical thinking, decision making, and time management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook) and performing quantity takeoffs
  • Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
