We are seeking a skilled System Administrator II to join our IT team at Cooper-Booth Wholesale Company, a leading wholesale distributor serving retailers in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our company's systems infrastructure to ensure high levels of performance, reliability, and security.
Responsibilities- Systems Administration: Provisions, installs, configures, operates, and maintains systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and Escalation: Leads and participates in technical research and development to enable continuous innovation in keeping pace with business requirements, and provides leadership and coordination with outsourcing partners in systems innovation and troubleshooting.
- IT Infrastructure Management: Serves as a technical resource for escalated issues from junior system administrators, and performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
- A two-year technical degree desired with a focus in computer science or engineering, and two to four years of system administration experience required.
- General networking skills required, and experience with mobile device management tools (i.e. MobileIron, Soti, etc.), cyber security management and monitoring tools (i.e. Arctic Wolf, Cybereason) and back-up and recovery solutions (i.e. Veeam, Zerto).
- Experience within a manufacturing or logistics environment is desired, and hands-on experience with mobile devices, file storage and maintenance, and maintaining a Microsoft Dynamics infrastructure is a plus.
- Knowledge and experience working with IT ticketing systems for change and problem tracking is required.
