Beebe Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse with a passion for cardiac care to join our dedicated team in the Cardiac Cath Lab. As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to our patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

About the Role:

As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, and team members to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to strict infection control protocols
  • Utilizing your excellent communication skills to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences
  • Demonstrating creativity, initiative, and problem-solving abilities to ensure the highest standard of care
Responsibilities:

As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting physicians with scrub duties, utilizing sterile technique to prevent cross-contamination
  • Preparing and positioning patients for procedures, including administering medications and contrast media under MD supervision
  • Documenting patient information, balancing calibration, and operating physiologic recorders
  • Providing radiation protection to patients, staff, and self, according to prescribed safety standards
  • Maintaining controlled drug inventory, ensuring accurate supply and dating of crash carts and drug boxes
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of one year critical care experience, preferably in a cardiac cath lab
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute Health (NIH) certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Competencies and Skills:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience in a hospital or acute care setting
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to keep confidential information regarding patients and team members
  • Able to withstand crisis situations
  • Knowledge and experience with electronic health records
Credentials:

We require:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
  • Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Stroke Certification (NIH)
Education:

A RN Diploma or RN Graduate Program is required.

Starting salary is $38.00 per hour.
