Job Responsibilities

As an Education Specialist in Speech Therapy, your primary duties will include:

  • Implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) to support students with autism and other behavioral challenges
  • Assisting teachers and support staff in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive social skills
  • Collecting and recording data on student progress, behavior, and responses to interventions
  • Collaborating with special education teams to tailor strategies for individual student needs
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Pennsylvania
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred

  • (10-15) minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
  • (20-30) minute virtual interview directly with the school
  • Offer typically within 24 hours of the virtual interview
