- Oversee and participate in the preparation and service of food and beverages, adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation, safety, and portion control.
- Help plan menus and ensure timely, efficient meal service, supervising the serving of meals.
- Respond to customer complaints in a professional manner, both in person and via email.
- Train and develop employees, assigning and coordinating work to promote efficiency and excellence in food and service.
- Use proper systems for completing daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including inventory, cash reports, production records, payroll, and time-keeping.
- Responsible for proper cash handling, adhering to the Food Accounting Manual.
- Order food and supplies from approved sources, directing and participating in the overall sanitation and safety of the facility and employees.
- Develop a sanitation schedule and ensure employees adhere to it for cleaning the kitchen and dining area, as well as washing kitchen utensils and equipment.
- Issue written and oral instructions, help select and orient employees, and oversee staff training in areas of responsibility.
