ROLE OVERVIEW

The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of guest accommodations and public areas. A strong attention to detail is essential to uphold the high standards of cleanliness expected at our hotel. Our Housekeeping team is committed to fostering a respectful and collaborative environment, where teamwork and open communication are paramount.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Exemplify the company’s core values of People, Place, and Character, promoting collaboration and exceptional service.
  • Follow established cleaning protocols and safety measures while preparing guest rooms and replenishing supplies.
  • Work closely with Housekeeping leadership to ensure a unified approach to guest satisfaction.
  • Take pride in maintaining high standards of health and safety in all cleaning practices.
  • Organize your work efficiently, respecting both your tools and workspace.
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency in maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms and shared spaces.
  • Engage in open communication during team meetings to share insights and address any concerns.
  • Participate in feedback sessions to enhance your skills and improve housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain regular communication with Housekeeping leadership to align on priorities and adapt to changing responsibilities.
  • Monitor the condition of furniture and fixtures, reporting any issues to the appropriate departments for resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • A strong commitment to cleanliness and a desire to learn and grow in the hospitality field.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning methods and safety protocols.
  • Proficient in English for effective communication and task execution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with team members at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing workload effectively.
  • Capability to lift and transport items up to 25 lbs. independently and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Willingness to stand or walk for extended periods while performing cleaning duties.
  • Comfortable working in a pet-friendly environment.
