Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Ultrasound Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating cardiac ultrasound equipment, performing procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and operate cardiac ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
  • Perform echocardiography procedures using sterile technique, adhering to hospital and department protocols.
  • Provide clear instructions and education to patients regarding the testing process and prepare them for procedures.
  • Utilize hospital and department information systems to complete patient testing records and billing procedures.
  • Transport and manipulate patients as necessary to complete echocardiography studies, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Monitor patient status during testing, injecting ultrasound contrast media when indicated.
  • Maintain accurate department records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Cover on-call shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as scheduled.
  • Participate in required meetings and contribute to committees as requested.
