Position Overview

Toyota's Western Region is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Analyst.

The primary function of this role involves evaluating and making decisions regarding the approval, conditioning, and denial of retail and lease credit applications submitted by automotive dealerships.

Reporting to the Credit Supervisor, this position supports the objectives of Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and ensures a high level of service to our dealer partners, fostering strong relationships with dealership staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain callback times for decisions in accordance with established targets.
  • Assess and negotiate deals as necessary to uphold the quality of purchases within set guidelines.
  • Inform management of any issues or irregularities related to retail, lease, or wholesale financing, breaches of trust, or other violations of company policies.
  • Monitor dealer trends and identify and report any adverse developments.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Investigation team as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive retail and/or wholesale financing.
  • Background in retail credit, collections, dealership financial statements, or wholesale.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Exceptional analytical, verbal, and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts and occasional overtime on holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office and remote work as scheduled.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
