Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to perform analytical work and research for our technical accounting group.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of new accounting pronouncements and conduct accounting research related to financial statement presentation and disclosures
- Work with and provide analysis to external auditors on emerging accounting issues and reporting matters
- Support the identification of process improvements and assist with their implementation
Accounting Research and Policy
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accounting guidance on related matters, researching current and emerging accounting issues, and implementing related accounting policies and procedures.
External Reporting
The candidate will provide information for the preparation of external financial reports in compliance with SEC and other regulatory reporting requirements.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3+ years' experience in auditing, financial accounting, and/or financial reporting
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA
- Financial Reporting/Public Accounting experience
- CPA or two years of experience in public accounting
Other Requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
- Experience with a broad range of technical accounting and reporting requirements
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
