**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Horizon Hospitality. As a senior leader in our culinary department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring that our food and beverage offerings meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and oversee a large-scale kitchen operation, ensuring efficient and effective food preparation and service.
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the diverse tastes and dietary needs of our clients.
- Lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Collaborate with our events team to create customized dining experiences for our clients, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
- Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses, ensuring that our kitchen operations are profitable and efficient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas and innovations into our menu offerings and kitchen operations.
**Requirements**
- 5+ years' experience as an Executive Chef or an Executive Sous Chef in a high-volume environment.
- Experience within corporate business dining, hotels, or country clubs.
- Culinary degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to manage and oversee a large-scale kitchen operation.
- Polished image and communications style.
- Strong financial acumen and creative abilities.
