About the Job

The Operations Intern will work directly with the Jackson Manufacturing Maintenance team to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are scheduled efficiently, parts inventory is properly cataloged and monitored. This role offers a chance to develop new skills and gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects and assignments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team.
  • Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.

Requirements
  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree with an interest in working in the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing operations.
  • Ability to develop, organize, and manage task schedules.
  • Ability to develop, organize, and manage complex parts inventory.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Compensation

Undergraduate: $25/hr

Graduate: $27/hr
