Job Overview

As a seasoned SAP/ABAP professional, you will play a critical role in designing, modeling, and implementing corporate data warehousing activities focused on SAP Financials (FI/CO). Your expertise will be instrumental in providing technical guidance on assessing current SAP environments to identify architectural changes needed to optimally support OpenText Extended Content Management (xECM) and SAP Information Lifecycle Management.

You will contribute to architectural assessments to identify detailed specifications for servers, storage, and networking requirements as well as database and application/transaction volume sizing for current and future growth. Additionally, you will integrate Archiving and an Information Lifecycle Management routine into ongoing FMS business process/calendar.

This is a challenging role that requires a Subject Matter Expert level experience using ABAP (Release 7.x) throughout the full spectrum of the software development lifecycle (analysis, design, build, test, maintain, debug, etc.). You will work as part of an integrated software development team and have a good working knowledge of MS Office tool suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.).

A US Citizen able to obtain a Position of Public Trust, you will be responsible for providing technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. You will establish goals and plans that meet project objectives and have domain and expert technical knowledge. Directs and controls activities for a client, having overall responsibility for financial management, methods, and staffing to ensure that technical requirements are met.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field from an accredited college or university. Experience may be substituted in place of degree. You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in SAP ABAP in a large/enterprise environment, preferably with a Federal Government entity.
