Position Overview
You will take on the role of a Composite/Plastic Fabricator Leader within the Production Resources Department at U.S. Pacific Fleet. This position is critical in overseeing a team dedicated to executing work assignments effectively.

Key Responsibilities
As a leader, you will:
- Guide a team of Helpers, Workers, and Journeymen, ensuring clarity in work assignments and a comprehensive understanding of tools, materials, and processes relevant to their skill levels.
- Oversee the construction of molds, templates, mockups, and components using diverse tooling and machinery.
- Utilize materials such as Polycarbonate, wood, Acrylic, and various composites to fabricate and repair ship components and temporary structures.
- Identify and address deficiencies, implementing corrective actions based on extensive trade knowledge and experience.
- Determine optimal methods and procedures for current work assignments in accordance with technical work documents.

Conditions of Employment
This role requires:
- Correctable vision within normal range in both eyes and the ability to distinguish basic colors.
- U.S. citizenship and suitability for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program.

Physical Requirements
The position may involve:
- Working in environments with potentially harmful physical and chemical agents.
- Travel to various locations, including remote sites.
- Lifting and carrying loads up to 60 pounds.
