Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a variety of civil engineering analyses and design tasks including roadway and grading design, site layout and planning, zoning analysis, storm-water management, utility planning, and ADA compliance.
  • Facilitate coordination and presentation of submissions with local utilities, municipalities, environmental agencies, and planning boards.
  • Execute site investigations to assess and document existing conditions.
  • Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications.
  • Aid in the development of project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordination with other design disciplines to ensure high-quality engineering services.
  • Perform construction inspections and provide solutions to issues during the construction administration phase.
  • Utilize a diverse range of technical and project management skills on projects from small site restorations to large-scale new constructions.
  • Attend professional industry events.
  • Contribute to the development of technical standards and mentor junior engineering staff.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Civil Engineering.
  • EIT certification required; NJ PE preferred.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers.
  • Understanding and application of relevant code requirements.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
