We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at UnitedHealth Group. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies.
- Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirements.
- Accurately gather medications and supplies according to specifications of compounding record.
- Label prepared compounded sterile products.
- Assist with cleaning of pharmacy prep area and sterile product complex, including required monthly clean of cleanroom environment.
- Sanitize and prepare medications and supplies for entry into cleanroom environment.
- Re-stock pharmacy and cleanroom supplies.
- Organize medication orders to prepare for production.
- Package and label prepared medication orders, ensuring drug, related supplies, and education materials are included.
- Prepare and scan compounding record documentation.
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
- Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License or registration in the state of California.
- 1+ years of experience with computers and MS Office products.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 lbs.
- National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB).
UnitedHealth Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a competitive hourly rate, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution. The hourly range for this role is $16.54 to $32.55 per hour, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
