Key Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for further repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership setting.
- Experience with GM vehicles is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of service drive operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- A positive and friendly demeanor with a customer-focused approach.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
