The Talent Acquisition Specialist will collaborate within a team framework to facilitate the hiring of personnel for temporary roles.
The ideal candidate should be sociable, approachable, and adept at problem-solving, exhibiting a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.
The right individual for this position will be motivated to excel by demonstrating an understanding of clients' needs and effectively matching candidates to those requirements.
This role is dynamic and would be well-suited for someone who thrives on challenges and enjoys collaborating with others to achieve optimal outcomes and high-quality staffing solutions.
This position entails a hybrid work model, thus the prospective candidate must be located near the designated office.
A valid driver's license and access to personal transportation are essential, as the role necessitates travel for networking events and promotional activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working under the guidance of the Team Leader to align candidates with client specifications.
- Building and nurturing relationships with candidates through open, friendly, and communicative interactions, including providing updates regarding the onboarding process.
- Planning and organizing networking events and other in-person recruitment initiatives within the community.
- Maintaining close communication with the Team Leader and stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
- Adhering to recruitment protocols and ensuring all candidates meet company standards and mandatory requirements prior to placement.
- Conducting both in-person and virtual interviews with prospective candidates.
- Responsible for entering candidate application details and related documentation into a customized CRM system.
- Performing phone and written reference checks for potential candidates.
- Ensuring secure collection of candidate banking information through our dedicated system and notifying the Payroll Team of new hires.
- Coordinating the issuance of candidate identification badges and uniforms.
- Collaborating with the Training Department to enhance the staff training booking process and ensure training demands are met.
- Assisting in system testing and reporting as required.
- Providing regular updates and reports on the status of the candidate pipeline.
- Supporting the training of new employees and serving as their Buddy during the onboarding process.
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the Team Leader.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a recruitment role.
- Proficient in IT systems, particularly Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in the English language.
- Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
- Capability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a readiness to take on new and challenging responsibilities.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding set targets and KPIs.
