Neuro Stepdown Registered Nurse

Ascension St. John Medical Center seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Neuro Stepdown Unit. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological conditions, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, and serving as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.
Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care, working closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team, ensuring a smooth transition to the next level of care.
Requirements
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
