Job Title: Quality Engineer Lead Auditor

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer Lead Auditor to join our team at Adient. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate actions of the Columbia Team to achieve or maintain IATF 16949 Certification.
  • Organize and ensure the completeness of BOS systems.
  • Maintain document control per BOS requirements.
  • Work with all levels of the Columbia Facility to maintain registration.
  • Coordinate the BOS internal audit process.
  • Authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the Environmental Management system.
  • Participate in the Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
  • Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and HSE&E emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and safe working procedures in assigned production areas.
  • Perform all roles and responsibilities as defined by the BOS System Policies and Procedures.
  • Complete all required and applicable training.
  • Complete other duties considered necessary by the Plant Manager.
  • Review and understand the Customer Specific Requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.
Work Environment:

The facility is a manufacturing/assembly facility. The noise level and temperature in the work environment is usually moderate but may vary.
