About the Role:
Dignity Health Medical Group - Sierra Nevada is seeking a Board Certified (or board-eligible) General Cardiologist to join our team in picturesque Grass Valley, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Provide non- or limited-invasive, non-interventional general cardiology care for adult patients in our outpatient clinic and at our community hospital
- Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients with various medical conditions
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories to diagnose and treat medical conditions
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide clear and concise medical information
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging, and perform procedures as needed
- Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation and provide consultative services to other healthcare providers
- Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives, reviewing and analyzing clinical outcomes for continuous improvement
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice, staying informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices, participating in ongoing medical education and training
Requirements:
- A valid and unrestricted California medical license
- Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
- Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program
Compensation:
$202.40 - $247.11 /hour
