About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Branch Coordinator to join our team at Apria. As a key member of our customer service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for patients arriving in person, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Answer inbound calls from customers, troubleshoot common issues, and work with the branch team and other departments to find appropriate resolutions and escalate queries or concerns when necessary.
  • Process orders and perform data entry, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our systems.
  • Work with sales teams, referrals, and patients to gather documentation and information needed to meet insurance guidelines, requesting health plan authorizations and information as required.
  • Review patient accounts, obtain necessary documentation, and submit claims to insurance providers to ensure timely payment and maximize patient benefits.
  • Collect credit card payments and reconcile daily receivables, submitting to the lock box as required.
  • Perform outbound customer satisfaction calls to patients and referrals, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
  • May conduct downloads of recording devices and perform functional tests on respiratory equipment, as required.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least one year of related work experience, preferably in an office environment, healthcare setting, or call center.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with proficiency in multiple systems and software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least two years of experience in an office environment, healthcare setting, or call center.
  • Experience utilizing multi-line phone systems and software.
Work Environment

This role is performed in an office setting with moderate noise levels and indoor fluorescent lighting. The physical demands of this role include sitting, walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, and stooping, with occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 40 pounds.
