The role involves occasional travel between campuses and may require evening and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide assistance to patrons through various channels including in-person, phone, email, and chat.
- Oversee the check-in and check-out processes for library materials.
- Collaborate with the library's marketing committee to enhance outreach efforts.
- Organize displays for library events and promotional activities.
- Manage the processing and distribution of materials for resource sharing.
- Ensure the safety and security of library users and assets.
- Represent the library at various campus functions.
- Engage in local committee activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Proficient in productivity software applications.
- Familiarity with automated systems and library management software.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and technology troubleshooting capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Associate degree or equivalent college coursework.
- A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience.
Starting salary is $15.00 per hour.
