Diesel Mechanic

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Corrigan Oil. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, and repairing trucks, trailers, and equipment. You will also be responsible for completing DOT and Preventative Maintenance services, as well as ensuring compliance with all DOT, Company, Safety Department, and ISO 9001 policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair trucks, trailers, and equipment
• Complete DOT and Preventative Maintenance services
• Ensure compliance with all DOT, Company, Safety Department, and ISO 9001 policies and procedures
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty brake repairs
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty suspension repairs
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty hydraulic repairs
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty electrical repairs
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty engine repairs and diagnostics
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty emissions repairs
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty HVAC repairs
• Perform light, medium, and heavy-duty tire repairs
• Perform DOT inspections
• Perform PM services (oil changes, services, etc.)
• Perform fabrication and welding
• Perform road calls
• Perform pump and power take-off repairs
• Perform hazmat tank repairs
• Perform engine overhauls (experience-based)
• Test drive equipment/trucks (if technician has CDL and correct endorsement)

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen, and 7-year criminal background check
• Basic computer skills
• Basic tools and toolbox
