Job Summary:

Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Neuropsychologist to join our team. As a key member of our Division of Neurology, you will be responsible for assessing patients referred by the division, including those with epilepsy and seizure disorders. Our Comprehensive Epilepsy Center is a Level IV Center, recognized by the National Association of Epilepsy Centers, and offers multidisciplinary clinical support to pediatric patients.

Additional responsibilities will include assessing patients referred from other divisions, such as neurosurgery, hematology/oncology, and rehabilitation medicine, as well as those referred through our cardiac neurodevelopmental program.

The position also includes teaching and supervising students in our pediatric medical residency and Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology member postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology.

We encourage faculty to engage in scholarly activity, including participation in ongoing research, initiating new research endeavors, and program development.

The position carries an academic appointment at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, with rank commensurate to qualifications and experience.

Applicants must have completed two years of postdoctoral training in neuropsychology, adhering to Houston Conference Guidelines, a PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, pediatric psychology, or child clinical psychology, have experience working on multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary teams, and eligibility for licensure in Missouri and Kansas.
