Grant Writer

This is a part-time Grant Writer position at Rockbridge County Schools. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing, identifying, and writing grants, as well as collaborating with various district departments and community organizations to secure funding for the school district.

• Grant Writing: Develop and submit high-quality grant proposals to secure funding for Rockbridge County Schools.
• Collaboration: Work closely with district departments and community organizations to identify funding opportunities and develop grant applications.
• Research: Conduct research to identify potential grant funding sources and develop a comprehensive understanding of grant writing processes.
• Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including district administrators, community organizations, and grant funding agencies.
• Project Management: Manage multiple grant projects simultaneously, ensuring timely submission of grant applications and reports.

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S) or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: Proven experience in grant writing, research, and project management.
• Skills: Excellent writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge: Knowledge of grant writing processes, grant funding sources, and relevant software applications.

This is a part-time position, and the successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team to achieve the goals of the school district.
