We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team at Allegion. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our door control products and sub-assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing test systems at LCN Door Controls.
- Work with cross-functional teams to integrate test stations into the manufacturing process and develop test procedures.
- Implement and maintain process controls through advanced quality planning techniques.
- Develop and maintain all relevant process documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Lead and support automation initiatives in the plant.
- Assist in qualifying suppliers for new products or product changes.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and equipment to improve manufacturing processes.
- 4-year engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- 3-5 years' experience working with electro-mechanical manufacturing test systems.
- Strong understanding of industrial protocols, software programming, electronics, and instrumentation.
- Experience with PLC programming, wiring, and cobots or robots is preferred.
- Ability to debug systems and analyze data to investigate test failures.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
