About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Dental Care of Wendell Falls.

  • Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Conduct thorough dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings and screenings
  • Work collaboratively with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements
  • Current dental hygienist license in North Carolina
  • Associate or Bachelor degree in dental hygiene (where required)
  • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry and dental hygiene procedures
  • CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of clinical experience
  • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
Physical Requirements

The ideal candidate will be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.

Prolonged periods of sitting and standing are required, as well as the ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year is also required.

As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions.
