Job Summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in Kingwood, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our emergency department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions, including acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication, surgery, and other interventions, as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and other physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in emergency medicine.
Requirements
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine (BE) or Board Eligibility (BC)
  • Residency training in Emergency Medicine
  • Ultrasound Fellowship preferred
  • 45,000 annual adult patient volume
  • 29 ED beds
  • 2.2 PPH
  • Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Program
  • Dedicated Adult and Pediatric emergency rooms
  • Robust GME programs with future fellowships: Internal Medicine, Transitional Year, Emergency Medicine, Surgery
