Role Overview

We are looking for a talented Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Armtec Defense Technologies. As a key member of our Supply Chain team, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our suppliers meet our quality standards and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit suppliers to evaluate their quality systems and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Provide input on supplier performance and select new suppliers.
  • Work with internal teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to various stakeholders.
  • Utilize problem-solving tools like 8D, 5Why, and Ishikawa Diagrams.

Requirements:

  • Broad experience in DoD processes, quality systems, specifications, and requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, speed, and quality of work.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and CAD systems.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
