Speech Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Imua Family Services. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing family-centered, culturally competent speech and language therapy services to children and their families, birth to age eight, with typical development and developmental delays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children and their families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each child.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, therapists, and healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care for each child.
- Provide information and support to families, including education on communication development, strategies for supporting communication, and resources for accessing community services.
- Compile information and data necessary for programming and accurate reports and billing to the Department of Health, Medicare medical insurance, and various funding sources.
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited college/university.
- Pediatric experience with birth to eight populations is preferred.
- Holds a current Hawaii state license in Speech Language Pathology or able to obtain one by first day of employment.
