The Opportunity

We're seeking a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in the Banking/Finance industry in St Louis, Missouri, United States. As a Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in reviewing partnership tax returns related to investments in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits.

  • Review complex partnership tax returns and related reports and analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate communication and tracking of approximately 100 tax returns as they are reviewed, maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Review GAAP audited financial statements and assist with spreading financial information on investments made by the company, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive results.

Experience Required for Your Success

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in partnership tax, with a strong background in corporate tax returns and tax compliance systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • CPA certification is a plus, but not required.
