Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and submit clinical documentation, evaluations, re-evaluations, and physician orders to the appropriate signing physician.
  • Oversee the submission of discharge orders and all necessary information to insurance companies.
  • Communicate effectively with staff regarding received orders and authorizations.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures for orders and authorizations.
  • Conduct initial insurance verifications to confirm funding sources for referrals.
  • Document and maintain accurate information regarding evaluation and treatment orders.
  • Coordinate with departments to obtain necessary paperwork from physicians' offices.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred college degree.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse healthcare staff.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional telephone etiquette.
  • Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented.
  • Knowledge of healthcare practices is preferred.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Supportive of a collaborative team environment.
