Marine Mechanical/HVAC Design Specialist

System One is seeking a highly skilled Marine Mechanical/HVAC Designer to support the design and development of marine vessels. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating detailed piping layouts and fabrication drawings, ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop marine vessel systems, including HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design meets customer requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and fabrication drawings.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in marine mechanical/HVAC design, with a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D, Shipconstructor, and other relevant design software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex design problems and develop effective solutions.
