About the Role
As a Security Officer, you will be entrusted with specific areas of responsibility, actively working to deter unlawful activities while enhancing the overall patient experience through a customer-focused approach. Your empathetic demeanor will be essential in managing patient interactions and supervising at-risk individuals within the hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Uphold and exemplify the mission, vision, and values of Billings Clinic.
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational and departmental standards.
  • Protect individuals and property from theft, damage, and potential hazards.
  • Maintain effective public relations when engaging with visitors and staff.
  • Monitor entrances and exits during emergency situations.
  • Assist clinical staff in patient management.
  • Conduct investigations and prepare reports on incidents and suspicious activities.
  • Perform regular patrols to identify irregularities and inspect safety equipment.
  • Transport or escort staff and patients as required.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned to meet departmental needs.

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A High School diploma or GED.
  • IAHSS Basic Certification within six months of hire.
  • A valid Montana State Driver's License.
  • The ability to meet licensing requirements as stipulated by the Montana Board of Private Security.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and background check.
