Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Logistics Instructor to join our team at Houston Community College. As a Logistics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the field of logistics and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional materials and courses in logistics and supply chain management.
  • Teach and mentor students in a variety of settings, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of logistics and supply chain management and incorporate best practices into your teaching.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives and committees.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management.
  • Teaching experience in a higher education setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and technologies.
